Poco, as an independent brand, is stepping up its game by emphasizing more on regular updates and user-company interactions.

With initiatives like a new Poco Community and fan-connect, Poco aims to establish a better communication channel on the software development and future support front.

But even after separating from Xiaomi, Poco seems to stick to MIUI and has no plans to develop their own skin for the time being. Only the launcher’s distinctiveness is what appears to be on Poco’s immediate plans.

Poco Launcher was introduced alongside the Poco F1/Pocophone F1 but only recently, it has started picking up more heat.

After user reports on missing A10 gestures, multiple bugs, and lagging animations started flowing in, the demand for Poco Launcher 3.0 surged.

Poco users, out of multiple other bugs, miss Android 10 gestures the most. And recently, an Mi community moderator cleared the air that Android 10 gestures and animations have already entered the internal testing phase ahead of imminent rollout.

Poco F2 Pro has already started receiving gesture support with the Android 11 update, however, it doesn’t seem to play well with 3rd party launchers as we reported earlier.

In a fresh statement, a Xiaomi forum moderator has said that Poco will add Android 10 gesture bar support to Poco devices, starting with devices transitioning to Android 11 and followed by devices on Android 10.

Hey, Android 10 gesture bar support will be made available for devices running on Android 11 followed by Android 10. POCO X3 Will receive Android 11 soon(might be bundled with the latest POCO launcher as that we have seen in POCO F2 Pro). You will come to know more about this. Stay tuned to mi global community for further info. Thanks

Poco X3 should also receive this function, likely alongside the Android 11 Poco Launcher as seen on the Poco F2 Pro.

ETA still remains elusive as the forum moderator chose to stay silent on that matter. But hopefully, it should be arriving soon.
