Clubhouse launched its Android app last month, and it has already reached over 2 million users. Clubhouse has also been working on improving the Android app so it’s at par with the iOS version. It has now added more features to its Android app in the latest update.

Clubhouse Android users will now be able to add their Instagram and Twitter accounts to their profile. This has been the most requested Android feature, Clubhouse said in the update’s release notes. You can do this by going to your Clubhouse profile and tapping on “Add Twitter” or “Add Instagram” and linking your accounts. “Adding social accounts to your profile is a great way to help people on Clubhouse get to know you better, follow your other accounts, and DM you—if your IG/Twitter settings allow for it,” Clubhouse said in the release notes.

Clubhouse is also making it easier to follow speakers and clubs directly from their rooms. Now if you’re in a room for a couple of minutes you will see a reminder to follow the club or speakers in the room. This reminder will appear at the bottom of the screen. You can tap “Follow” to start following the speakers or club.

The last feature for Clubhouse on Android is the addition of upcoming events on a club page. Now you can go to a club page and see if it has more than one upcoming event, and browse through them. You can also tap the bell icon to RSVP and get a notification when it begins. Clubhouse has already rolled out this update to its Android app globally.

Clubhouse rose to fame quickly despite having launched only on iOS, and on an invite-only basis. Its popularity led to companies like Facebook and Twitter working on their own versions of Clubhouse. There are now many more Clubhouse-like products and features in different platforms. Twitter Spaces was recently made available widely, and Facebook has also started publicly testing its Clubhouse rival.
