Google is testing showing search results at the top of Chrome pages on Android. This means that search results remain visible after users leave the results page. It is unknown when the feature will be available to all users.

Google recently started testing this feature, and also noticed 9To5Google On. a Science For the new feature that appeared in the latest version of Google Chrome for Android. The feature only works with the Google search engine.

The feature displays alternative Google search results at the top of the page. The function adds an additional bar to that, just below the address bar. In this bar, users will find a scrollable list of these results. This makes it easy for Chrome users to view different search results without having to go back to Google itself. The bar is hidden when users scroll down. If users click on a different link within a specific page, the bar will disappear completely.

Android users can test the feature by going to chrome://flags, searching for “Continuous navigation in search”, and then enabling this feature. Tweakers were able to test this feature in version 91.0.4472.120 of the mobile web browser. The Chrome feature is not yet available on other platforms.
