Berkeley police reports laptop stolen during robbery at Caffe Strada

Following a series of laptop robberies involving a white sedan, another laptop was stolen Tuesday morning outside Caffe Strada.

At around 11 a.m., the suspect approached a woman who was seated in the patio of the café, according to Berkeley Police Department spokesperson Byron White. The suspect then took the woman’s laptop and ran to a nearby white sedan and drove away, White added.

White said witnesses described the suspect as a 5’6″ tall Hispanic male between 25 and 30 years old “with a medium build wearing a white shirt and dark jeans.”
