Artery Gear: Fusion is a turn-based strategy game out now in Japan on Android and iOS

Artery Gear: Fusion is set in a future where the Earth is devastated by the invasion of an unknown life form – Puppet. It sees players strategising and controlling their assets to defend humanity. They play as the commander of the Union Fleet – Artery Gear. This unit contains girls who function as humanoid mobile weapons commonly known as AG.

Gameplay

The gameplay follows a turn-based format with the player having full control over the outcome of the battle. They will need to make use of a wide range of characters and strategies to emerge victorious and progress with the story. Every character has different skills and attributes, which you will need to mix and match to suit each enemy.

The highlight of the game is its character designs. Many main characters from the previous Artery Gear are making a comeback. You will easily be able to recognise Neo, Mel, Leila and O-4. Apart from them, it also has its own wide selection of new and original characters.

Features

The game itself makes use of a combination of 3D and spine technology. This system gives the option to design characters with a range of structures and body types. Artery Gear: Fusion is a visual feast for the eyes. The lighting technology used is perfect for bringing out the character’s full self-luminescence and particle rendering effects. You can easily lose yourself in its stellar world design that highlights dystopian themes and technology.

Another thing to look out for is the well-planned and intricate main story. It follows the tale of human beings, what brought about this phenomenon of mass destruction and where we are headed. It also gives us more details about the Artery Gear, the girls’ life story, and how they came to be.
